Your Value

I heard this story from a person who has influenced my life the most.
The Values Professor entered the classroom and held up a Rs.10 note in front of his class. He asked the class, "Who would like to have this Rs.10 note?"
All students raised their hands.
He said, "I am going to give this Rs.10 note to one of you but first, let me do this." He proceeded to crumple the note.
He then asked, "Who still wants it?"
Still the hands were up in the air.
"Well," he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.
He picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty. "Now who still wants it?"
Still the hands went into the air.
At last he said.."My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson today. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because, the note, in whatever condition it may be, did not decrease in value. It was still worth 10 rupees.
Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We may feel as though we are worthless. We may forgot that the true worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, But by WHO WE ARE.
No matter what happens, you will never lose your value. You are special – Don’t ever forget it.
Value yourself. Don't demean and demoralize yourself at times of failures. Trust yourself and be Proud to be YOU!
Are you ready to value Yourself?
